If counseling is new to you or your way of understanding yourself is changing, I am here to help you make sense of that. I entered my counseling education wanting to learn as much as I can about the mind-body connection and help others find healing. Working with me, you will be working with someone who is curious and helps you slow down and notice your body and mind with a perspective you likely didn’t have before. While setting aside time to face parts of your life that feel chaotic or confusing takes a lot of courage, I strive to create a comfortable space where you feel seen and understood and leave with a greater understanding of yourself.

As a counselor I like to focus on identifying ways your life can be improved outside of sessions and teach skills that will help you calm and regulate your nervous system. This includes educational resources, mindfulness practice, and structured problem solving. I have been trained in EMDR therapy since 2021 and have seen its effectiveness in quickly helping symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and panic. I enjoy working with people who are in life transitions such as the transition to young adulthood, transitions in or out of important relationships, living authentically in their gender and sexuality, or navigating grief and loss.

I have recently moved to Ohio from North Carolina, and offer teletherapy to adult clients located in either state.

Outside of the office, I enjoy running, exploring Columbus, and baking. I have a family of three and could easily be convinced to grow it by one cat.
