Announcing our upcoming groups and workshops
It’s our mission to empower people to heal from trauma and cultivate healthy relationships. We’re excited to offer two much-needed virtual groups this spring to support your mental wellness and relational health. All groups and workshops are facilitated by licensed mental health specialists. Each group this spring requires a pre-screening so you can ask questions and make sure you this group is a good fit for you before committing. Couples Communication Workshop: Recognizing the “Four Horsemen”
When: Tuesdays @ 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Dates: April 2, April 9, April 16, April 23
Where: Virtual through Google Meet
Cost: $145 per couple
Pre-screening required. Open to couples in Ohio and North Carolina. Limited to 5 couples.
Research shows being able to identify the “Four Horsemen of the Relationship Apocalypse” is a necessary first step to eliminating harmful communication patterns and replacing them with healthy, productive communication patterns. In this 4-week virtual workshop, couples will learn to recognize unhealthy patterns of communication and learn new skills to use instead.
This group is a great precursor, adjunct to, or refresher for couples therapy. It is appropriate for couples experiencing mild to moderate relationship distress and looking for practical strategies to have healthier communication, resolve conflict, and increase emotional connection with one another.
Mother Well: A Support Group for Pregnant & Postpartum Moms
Time: Thursdays 10:30am to 11:30am
Dates: April 4, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 9, May 16
Where: Virtually via GoogleMeet
Cost: $65 per group
Pre-screening required. Open to moms in Ohio. Babies welcome!
This 6-week virtual support group provides space for expecting and new mothers to discuss the honest, unfiltered realities of motherhood.
This group will provide education about maternal mental wellness and offer practical strategies to cope with the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with a new baby. You’ll learn to recognize the signs of perinatal anxiety disorders and how to get the help you need.
Mother Well is for those who want a safe space to discuss the common feelings of guilt, loneliness, sadness, and longing for who you were before you became a mother - while connecting with other moms going through it with you.
